What we collect
The email address you type into the sign-up field, and, as described under Analytics, how this website is visited. There is no advertising or ad tracking.
Why
To send you one email asking you to confirm, and, once you have, news about the reveal and the launch of I Have A Watch. Nothing else, and we never sell or share your address.
Who handles it
- EmailOctopus keeps the mailing list and sends our emails.
- Google provides Google Analytics, as described below.
- Cloudflare serves this website. Your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated sign-up attempts and is not stored with your email.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and whether signing up works. It only sets cookies if you allow it. Until you choose, and if you decline, Google receives cookieless signals only, such as the page viewed, the browser and the approximate location, with no identifier that links one visit to the next.
If you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics keeps a random identifier in a cookie named _ga so that repeat visits can be counted. Google’s advertising features are turned off.
Confirmation and leaving
You are only added to the list after you confirm from the email we send. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To have your address deleted entirely, write to hi@ihavea.watch.
